Introduction to Weather

Your Instructors

Welcome to the Weather portion of the course. Your two instructors for this section will be Col. Don Berchoff (USAF Ret.) and Maj. Nathan Green (USAF Ret.).

Col. Berchoff is a retired Colonel from the United States Air Force, where he was responsible for all weather programs and also was the commander of an Air Force base overseas. Don was also formerly the Director of Science and Technology at the National Weather Service. Don is currently the CEO of TruWeather Solutions. You can read more about Don on our About Us page.

Maj. Nathan Green is also retired from the United States Air Force, where he was the lead weather forecaster for the president's plane, Air Force One. Nathan also led weather forecasting efforts for military UAV operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Nathan is currently the Meteorological Operations Manager at TruWeather Solutions.
